  1. Carol-Ann Pearce asks 21 May 2020

After curing the speed gel, its impossible to remove the mould as it is totally stuck. Please help

    1. Beverly Kruger answers 15 Jun 2020

This tends to happen if you use too much gel.

If the gel oozes over the edge of the mould and you cure it, it is impossible to get to the free edge to lift it up and off.

STEP-BY-STEP

  1. Prepare the nails, apply tips (if using tips) and remove the shine from the tip with a buffer block.
  2. Remove all debris and dust with a dusting brush and wipe with sanitiser.
  3. Apply a very thin layer of CRYSTAL CLAWZ Base Coat from cuticle to free edge, covering the entire nail. Cure for 30 seconds LED and 2min UV.
  4. Squeeze the tube of Velocity Speed Gel to release the product and slice off the desired amount with the flat edge of the Dual Ended Gel Brush (Polygel)
  5. Use the PolyTool to roll the product onto the nail.

  6. Switch to the brush side of the PolyTool. Dip the brush into the Slip Solution, then shape the nail by lightly patting the Speed Gel product. Keeping the brush close to the surface, continue until the nail and tip are covered. Cure the nail for 60 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 min in UV.
  7. Remove inhibition layer.
  8. Lightly file the nail with a 180-grit file. Finish shaping with a 180-grit buffer.
  9. Cleanse the nail. Apply one coat of Crystal Clawz Base Coat and cure for 30 seconds.
  10. Apply two thin coats of Crystal Clawz Gel Polish, curing after each.

  11. To finish, apply Crystal Clawz Gel Top coat and cure.
